Spectacle Lenses

In addition to standard single vision and varifocal lenses, we offer a range of specialised lenses designed for modern day tasks involving screen use or frequent changes between near and distance focus.

Varilux Xclusive 4D Varifocals

Varilux Xclusive 4D spectacles are personalised to you, providing the widest field of view of all Varilux lenses. Using a computer-vision based measuring instrument, the exact fit and position of your chosen frame are fed into the lens surfacing process. You’ll also complete a simulated reading test, which fine tunes the reading position based on your posture and head movements.

Occupational Lenses

Do you need more from your reading glasses? Occupational lenses, sometimes called ‘office lenses’, are designed for indoor use and provide clear vision for near tasks and objects a short distance away.

The design of the lens can be adjusted to suit the distances in your workspace; whether it’s playing an instrument, using a screen or doing precision hand work.

Your optician will discuss your day to day tasks with you to choose a lens design that will provide the best clarity.
