All our eye examination appointments are 45 minutes long, giving our experienced optometrists time to use a variety of diagnostic techniques. You’ll also be able to discuss any specific needs or problems you’re experiencing.
OCT Scans
Optical Coherence Tomography is an advanced eye scan for people of all ages. Using light waves, the scan produces a 3D cross-section of the layers of your retina. OCT helps monitor several conditions including glaucoma, diabetes and age-related macular degeneration.
Auto-Phoropter
Replacing the trial frame from which lenses were manually inserted and removed, the auto-phoropter allows the optometrist to precisely and repeatably vary the lens power during the examination. Without the heavy trial frame, you’ll also find your exam more comfortable.
